Fellow 204 Scouts -
 I will be instructing the Citizenship in the Community Merit Badge
class during Troop meetings over the next two months.  Please see the
schedule for the classes below.

Class  1:   Monday Feb 4th - Requirements #2 & 4 (We will be
interviewing
Mr. Doug Grijalva - Board Member for Cockrens Crossing)

Class 2:    Monday Feb 25th Req #1 & 6

Tuesday Feb 26th - Cockrens Crossing Community Assn Meeting (7:30-9:00)
(Req #3)

Class 3:    Monday March 10 - Req # 5 - Discuss Movie - "Remember the
Titans" -         Focused discussion on the coach's impact on their
local
community.
            Req#8 - Report outs on prepared presentations. (Homework)
            Wrap-up for Badge for those that completed Req # 7 and 8

Note - Scouts will be required to watch the movie "Remember the Titans"
PRIOR to the March 10th meeting to participate in the discussion.

They will be required to attend the CC Assn meeting as well as create a
presentation for review with me on March 10th (or other Troop meeting).

Community service is an additional requirement - Life scouts may have
completed this already if they have been working on their Eagle
Projects.
Other scouts will need to complete this requirement outside of this
classroom instruction.
