Learn about the basics of weather such as temperature, winds, moisture and pressure. Also, learn about severe weather such as thunderstorms, hurricanes and tornadoes. Plus learn how to keep you and your family safe in all types of weather. All the weather you ever wondered about in one class. Bring questions and a smile! Cost: $25/scout
 
SPRING 2008 SCOUT SPRING BREAK SCHEDULE 
During the week of March 17 - March 21, we will have a Boy Scout Spring Break Camp. These camps will include hands-on activities, field trips, guest speakers and more.
Don’t miss the opportunity to earn badges in our Spring Break Boy Scout Camp. This Spring Break (March 17 – March 21), earn Weather, Medicine, Citizenship In the Nation, Citizenship In the Community, Communications, First Aid, Emergency Preparedness and Dentistry. 

Take field trips, listen to guest speakers and participate in fun, interactive, hands-on classes. The camp runs from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM each day. There is a mandatory orientation session Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 10:00 AM. Registration begins February 1, 2008. Don’t delay; only 24 slots available!
Cost: $250/scout
 
BOY SCOUT MERIT BADGE SUMMER CAMPS 
Summer 2008
The Health Museum is pleased to offer Scout Camps. Requirements will be covered through hands-on activities, field trips, guest speakers and in-class presentations by each scout. Most badges are completions. For a list of  requirements to be completed outside of camp, visit our web site.
Badges that are offered each week are listed below.
 
June 9-14:    Citizenship in the Community, Citizenship in the Nation, Communication, Weather, Dentistry, Emergency Preparedness, First Aid
July 7-11:    Citizenship in the Community, Citizenship in the Nation, Communication, Public Health, Emergency Preparedness, First Aid, Medicine
August 4-8: Citizenship in the Community, Citizenship in the Nation, Communication, First Aid, Medicine, Dentistry, Public Health
