[Troopwide] Order of the Arrow (OA) elections will be at the next meeting

It is important that we have a large turnout so that we can have the
election.

The requirements for eligibility to be elected into OA are as follows:

First Class scout,
15 days/nights of BSA camping, and 5 days/nights consecutive at a BSA
long term camp in the last 2 years. Only 5 days of long term camp will
qualify towards the 15 days, so you will need 10 "weekend" campouts.

The candidates will be elected by their peers, who can vote for as many
scouts as they think are deserving. A scout is considered elected as a
candidate if 50% of the ballots select the scout.

If the eligible scouts are on the list, and they live the scout oath and
law in their everyday life, then it is most probable that they deserve
to be in OA.

Regards

Nick
